The Purple Shamrock or Butterfly Flowers (Oxalis
Triangularis)
The Purple Shamrock (Oxalis Triangularis)
Purple shamrock is triangular in shape due to the triangular shaped
leaves with a characteristic of light purple rose in a dark purple color.
Deep maroon leaves are trifoliate, such as species in the clover genus
Trifolium commonly called shamrock, hence the name "false shamrock". Flowers
with five petals, white or light pink, also close at night.
With its stunning and eye-catching purple foliage, Oxalis Triangularis
or Purple Shamrock is definitely kept indoors as the star of the show. Provided
appropriate indoor growing conditions, it will give you strong growth and color
throughout the season.
How To Care Purple Shamrock
The best-growing indoor temperatures for purple shamrock are
approximately between 59° F to 74° F. When the temperature inside the house
becomes too hot, the foliage will wilt. During the winter when indoor
conditions can become hot due to artificial heating, make sure the plant is not
sitting next to the heating vent.
For best growth, keep your purple shamrock in an indoor location that
receives bright light. If the indoor lighting conditions are very low, the
plant growth will not be strong and will tend to result.
Best fertilizers for Oxalis Triangularis :
Just use only : Mustard cake and Cow dung cake.
I would recommend these two fertilizers for each and every types of tree
because these are the best organic fertilizers.
Just water the trees every day and then just keep watching the magic.
